Our roots can be traced back to 1920 when the original company was founded. It mostly engaged in leather goods distribution and repair, and continued its work for more than 80 years. Impressive, isn’t it?
In 2005, to make travellers life easier, we re-established the company in Frankfurt, Germany, and reinvented the baggage service. Now we deal with the baggage damaged during flights and do warranty/private repairs. Simply the luggage superheroes.
We open our first repair hubs in Frankfurt and Prague. We sign our first contract with an airline and repair our first suitcase. Free door-to-door service to everyone!
We open a new repair hub in Warsaw, Poland. The Polish branch repairs 2000 suitcases per month. Suitcases get repaired in a blink of an eye.
We establish another repair hub in Lisbon, Portugal. First suitcases evaluated virtually and 5894 saved trees as a result. Thank you, Internet! We enter to the French and Spanish markets. That’s the spirit!
We open a contact centre in Warsaw, Poland. We start working on the Italian market. Europe is not the limit anymore. We’re doing it worldwide. There are 15 different languages you can hear in our contact centre. The number is still growing. Our family is getting bigger: there are 150 luggage lovers already. 675 calls per week. It’s getting hot here!
We send our first emoji to a customer via WhatsApp. We order 600 spare parts per month.
Dolfi1920 cooperates with about 100 global and local airlines. It means that we service their passengers who get the baggage damaged during the flight. But how can we help so many people all at once? Well, it’s quite possible when there are 5 branches in 5 different countries:
It doesn’t mean that we provide our baggage services only there. Dolfi1920 functions in more than 20 European countries, and in some cases operates even globally. Our company has 2 call centers and 4 workshops with about 200 employees. We may be very different: there are dancers, pilots and writers among us, but within the walls of Dolfi1920 we are all united by one common goal: to deliver excellent and unique baggage service to our clients. We are very proud that some of us are fond of communicating with people and helping them deal with their problems, and others are luggage fans who can tell you the make and model of the suitcase with closed eyes just by touching it. It shows that we know how to do our job and we love to do it.
